Confidence in the water grows through opportunity, practice, and belief.

Adaptive Swim Lessons, led by Brandon Herring with Adaptive Physical Fitness and brought to you by DSA, are designed to help individuals ages 10 and up build water safety skills, confidence, and independence in a structured and supportive group environment.

Swimming is more than a skill — it’s a life skill. Through guided instruction, repetition, and clear routines, participants develop comfort in the water while strengthening coordination, confidence, and self-trust.

Each 30-minute small group session focuses on:
Water comfort and safety awareness
Basic swim skills and breathing techniques
Following structured routines
Building independence step by step
Learning alongside peers in a positive setting

Swimmers progress at their own pace while gaining confidence and celebrating growth along the way. These lessons are open to all ability levels. Whether new to swimming or continuing to build skills, every participant is welcomed and supported. Because learning to swim isn’t just about the water — it’s about building confidence and independence that carries into life beyond the pool.
