This year’s Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk & Family Festival was an incredible celebration of inclusion, love, and community! With more than 2,000 attendees, we came together to honor individuals with Down syndrome and their families and raised over $183,000, surpassing our goal!
Your support fuels programs and services that empower individuals with Down syndrome across the Omaha metro area. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every team, sponsor, community partner, volunteer, and donor who made this day possible.

The Omaha Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk is the primary fundraiser of the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands. 100% of funds raised support the programs and administration of an organization that supports over 700 families in the Omaha Metro.
Donations support the Down Syndrome Education Series, the Young Adult Series, the scholarship program for self-advocates, medical outreach materials, education materials for 20 local school districts, events that foster family connections, and professional staff to ensure the stability and growth of the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands.
