Educator DSES - Effective Educational and Behavioral Strategies in the Classroom

The Down Syndrome Education Series (DSES) is a monthly educational seminar for families of children with Down syndrome, designed to connect parents with information that will positively impact the education and well-being of their child.
Effective Educational and Behavioral Strategies in the Classroom - Learners with developmental disabilities and learning challenges require creative perspectives on teaching and behavior management. Join us to learn effective educational and behavioral strategies based in the scientific principles of learning and behavior and fill your tool box with things to help all of your students achieve.
Speaker Bio - For over 18 years, Stacy has worked as a behavior analyst providing services to people with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. She has served as director for 3 behavioral intervention programs and currently owns and operates, Advance Behavior & Learning in Central Florida. Mrs. Taylor has worked in a variety of settings including clinics, schools, and homes. In addition to providing 1:1 treatment to children, she has also provided training and consultation to parents, teachers, therapists and agencies. In 2014, Mrs. Taylor opened a private inclusive elementary school called Advance Learning Academy where students learn and grow as part of a diverse school community. She has spoken at numerous conferences across the country on education, inclusion and behavioral treatment and has served on the board of directors for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida.
