Little Ones Sign and Shine
Join DSA and Sarah Heller for an interactive Little Ones Sign and Shine workshop for your family! She will introduce you and your littles to American Sign Language (ASL) as a bridge to communication. By the family using signs and pairing with other communication tools, frustration can be reduced by giving all members other ways to express their choices, preferences, and needs. It can also strengthen the family’s understanding of language and show them how communication is useful in everyday life. There is a $5 per family charge for this Little Ones event.
