Bellevue Buddy Baseball
Free Event for Kids Ages 5 - 14
Bellevue Baseball Boosters, in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands, will play the first annual Buddy Baseball game and enjoy an evening of special fellowship and fun!
A varsity player is matched with a child "buddy" from DSA. Parents cheer from the stands as players assist their buddies with hitting, running, and fielding. The Buddies are announced over the loudspeaker individually. The National Anthem will be sung live prior to the game.
Each child will receive a Baseball Buddy T-shirt, a goodie bag full of fun gifts to take home, a medal, and an autographed baseball from their varsity player. After the game, players, buddies and their families will enjoy a summer snack on Roddy Field. Photos will be uploaded to Shutterfly.com.
The players, coaches, and Bellevue Baseball Boosters look forward to making this a special day for all the children and their families!
