Research Down Syndrome

Dr. Patricia White will present information on current studies funded by RDS.

The mission of Research Down Syndrome is to fund and support scientific research directed towards the development of safe and effective drug therapies that will improve memory, learning and communication in persons with Down syndrome and address the increased likelihood for Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Patricia White and her husband have five children, including a son who has Down syndrome. In addition to her involvement with numerous local and national advocacy activities, Dr. White has been a leading participant in the Down syndrome cognitive research effort. With the support of family, friends, and experts in the field, Dr. White and her husband launched the non-profit foundation, Research Down Syndrome, in 2009. Along with her involvement in Down syndrome cognitive research initiatives, she participates in numerous local and national support and advocacy activities on behalf of those with Down syndrome. Dr. White resides in New Vernon, New Jersey.

Please note that Blue Cross is graciously offering the use of their conference room. We request that you leave children other than nursing infants at home.
