 \nAbout the topic: The Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum draws from ye
 ars of innovation and research to provide developmentally appropriate\, mu
 ltisensory strategies for early writing. The program follows research of h
 ow children learn best and includes materials that address all styles of l
 earning. In the online presentation\, DSA families will see the foundation
  for writing\, such as how to form letters\, in action. The readiness and 
 writing foundation learned here for pre-k to early-elementary students is 
 taught and reinforced to aid in transitions to other grade levels. This pr
 esentation is appropriate for DSA families and educators. DSA families onl
 y will be granted exclusive access to take-home materials (pick-up process
  t.b.a.) and a Q&A segment following the presentation. DSA is excited to o
 ffer this highly valued presentation to families and educators at no cost.

 e\, MS\, OTR/L\n\nCathy Van Haute has been a national presenter for Learni
 ng Without Tears since 2003. She\nobtained a Bachelors of Science in Occup
 ational Therapy from the University of Kansas\, and a\nMasters degree in C
 hild Development from the University of Nebraska. She is also Level One\nC
 ertified Handwriting Specialist and Neurodevelopmental Treatment Certified
 . Cathy has been a\npediatric occupational therapist for over 35 years. Sh
 e operates her own therapy business\, which\nprovides therapy strategies i
 n both school and home based settings. Through her energy and\nengagement\
 , she makes Learning Without Tears® an amazing educational experience. Her
 \npassion for helping children fuels her dedication to providing top notch
  training for all attendees.\n\n
