 onal seminar for families of children with Down syndrome\, designed to con
 nect parents with information that will positively impact the education an
 d well-being of their child.\n\nAging in Adults with Intellectual and Deve
 lopmental Disabilities: Concerns and Hope\n*Refreshments provided by MMI\n
 \nSome adults with Down syndrome will experience changes in their behavior
 \, skills and memory as they age. In this session\, participants will lear
 n more about what might be causing these changes\, identify ways to captur
 e the individual’s personal best\, and use differential diagnosis to rule 
 out or identify the source of changes. Participants will explore Down synd
 rome Regression and Alzheimer’s disease and its progression. Healthy aging
  and a proactive approach to dealing with the aging process and concerns f
 or decline will be reviewed. \n\nAbout the 'Aging in Adults with Intellect
 ual and Developmental Disabilities' speaker:\n\nDr. Seth M. Keller\, MD is
  a board certified neurologist in private practice with Advocare Neurology
  of South Jersey.  Specializes in the evaluation and care of adults with I
 ntellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) with neurological compli
 cations. He cares for individuals with I/DD both in the community as well 
 in New Jersey’s ICF/DD centers. Dr. Keller is on the Executive Board of th
 e Arc of Burlington County as well as on the board for The Arc of New Jers
 ey Mainstreaming Medical Care Board.\n\nDr. Keller is the Past President o
 f the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD).  D
 r. Keller is also the co-chair of the National Task Group on Intellectual 
 Disabilities and Dementia Practices (NTG). He is actively involved in nati
 onal and international I/DD health education as a speaker and webinar and 
 workshop participant.\n
