 icipants will learn how to make their own Social Stories and practice usin
 g them. \n\nParticipants will:\n\nMake 3 social stories: Receiving a Gift\
 , Meeting Santa\, and Holiday Meals.\nDiscuss Social Stories and their ben
 efits.\nLearn how to use Social Stories at home and at school to foster th
 e understanding of events\, expectations\, and routines. \nLearn how to ch
 oose appropriate visuals for Social Stories and resources available for cr
 eating your own.\n\n*You will be given ideas for specific pictures of your
  child to bring to the make & take. Please bring a laptop computer or tabl
 et with PowerPoint\, if you have one available.\n\n*Registration will clos
