 erview for Caregivers\n\nObjectives:\nUnderstand how to identify sensory p
 rocessing disorder\nUnderstand and recognize the signs and behaviors assoc
 iated with sensory processing differences\nUnderstand the unique sensory n
 eeds and challenges of a child with sensory processing differences\nUnders
 tand the use and significance of implementing sensory based activities int
 o daily routines\nDemonstrate the use of a variety of sensory strategies\n
 \nCandice Mullendore - Candice has worked in a variety of pediatric settin
 gs including acute care\, NICU\, early intervention\, outpatient\, and sch
 ool-based therapy for the past 20+ years. She has extensive experience in 
 treating sensory processing disorders\, feeding delays\, and oral motor th
 erapy. She is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory feeding program\, Int
 eractive Metronome\, and is a Therapeutic Listening® trained provider. Can
 dice has considerable experience with Astronaut Training®\, Neuro-Developm
 ental Treatment (NDT)\,  Beckman Oral Motor program\, and is a Level I cer
 tified provider for Handwriting Without Tears®.\n\nKellie Costello - Kelli
 e Costello has 15 + years of experience working in pediatrics in school ba
 sed\, outpatient\, and preschool/early intervention settings. She has spec
 ialized training in Beckman Oral Motor\, Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding P
 rogram\, Astronaut Training®\, Pediatric Kinesiotaping\, Interactive Metro
 nome\, Therapeutic Listening®\, and is Level 1 certified in Handwriting Wi
 thout Tears®. Kellie has a special interest in feeding and visual and perc
 eptual challenges in children.\n\n*Registration will close Monday\, Novemb
 er 12th at 10am. Please contact Leah at janke@dsamidlands.org if you miss 
 the deadline and would like to attend. \n**Childcare is not provided.  Wit
