 don is an educator\, advocate\, and a parent of a child with special needs
 . He has nearly 20 years experience working in schools. He has been a buil
 ding administrator\, where he has served as an LEA for hundreds of IEP mee
 tings. He has been a classroom teacher representative for dozens more. Dr.
  Herndon has been married to his wife\, Jenny\, for nearly 16 years\, and 
 they have four children\, one of whom sports an extra 21st chromosome! \n
 \nTitle : 'FAPE\, LRE\, IEP\, FBA\, BIP...It's all so confusing! What's my
  role in all of this? How can I make sure my students get what's best for 
 them?'\n\nDescription: Educators will learn about special education topics
  that are important to parents. They will also learn more about what their
  role is in this whole process and how they can operate within that role t
 o ensure that IEP meetings go smoothly!\n\n*Registration closes Monday\, F
