 est\, in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands\, w
 ill play the 4th annual Buddy Baseball game to benefit children with Down 
 syndrome from the surrounding community and provide a day of special fello
 wship and fun.\n\nGroups of two-three players are matched with a child\, “
 buddy” from DSA.  Parents cheer from the stands while players assist their
  buddy with hitting\, running\, and fielding.  The buddies are announced o
 ver the loud speaker individually\, and the national anthem will be sung l
 ive prior to the game.\n\nEach child will receive a Buddy baseball t-shirt
 \, a goodies bag full of fun gifts to take home\, a medal\, an autographed
  baseball from their varsity player and a photo with their buddy.  After t
 he game\, players\, buddies\, and their families will enjoy a summer picni
 c at Werner Park. A special appearance by the Stormchasers and Stormy the 
 mascot will round out the morning.\n\nIn the evening\, our Buddies are inv
 ited to the 7PM Storm Chasers game and will get to walk out on the field w
 ith the players for the national anthem! Each family participating can req
 uest up to 4 berm tickets\, additional berm tickets can be purchased for j
 ust $9 at www.omahastormchasers.com. \n\nThe high school players\, coaches
 \, and volunteers look forward to making this a special day for all the ch
 ildren and families. \n
