 pecial needs families.   She has a brother with Down Syndrome and has been
  in the special needs community professionally as an advocate\, speaker an
 d consultant for over 20 years.  Catherine began advocating for better\, m
 ore effective special education programs after experiencing the challenges
  of our school systems as a certified special education teacher.\n\nCather
 ine's mission is to educate and empower parents and professionals on how t
 o design and implement special education programs for success. She has fou
 nded the Online IEP Help Center\, travels nationwide to speak with parents
  & IEP teams\, and reaches over 100\,000 families weekly through social me
 dia. Catherine helps both parents and professionals build IEPs and action 
 plans to help all children prepare for Further Education\, Employment and 
 Independent Living to the best of their ability with an emphasis of never 
 letting a label limit a child.\n\n*Childcare is not provided.  With the ex
 ception of infants\, we request that you refrain from bringing children to
  this event.\n\n* Registration will close Monday\, March 6th at 8am.
