X-WR-CALDESC:The Down Syndrome Education Series (DSES) is a monthly educati
 onal seminar for families of children with Down syndrome\, designed to con
 nect parents with information that will positively impact the education an
 d well-being of their child.\n\n*Please note that this presentation is bei
 ng held at the Community Engagement Center\, located on UNO's Dodge Street
  campus. See the map below for directions and help with parking. There is 
 reserved parking in the gated LOT E.*\n\nTitle - Improving Fine Motor and 
 Self-Help Skills\nHolly Dixon and Tammy Stephens\, Occupational Therapists
  from the Monroe-Meyer Institute\, will share strategies and activities to
  promote fine motor and self-help skill development at home and in the com
 munity.  This presentation will cover ideas for young children as well as 
 older students. \n\nSpeaker - Holly Dixon\, OTR/L\nHolly is a Team Coordin
 ator in the Occupational Therapy Department at Munroe-Meyer Institute\, Un
 iversity of Nebraska Medical Center. She has 16 years of experience primar
 ily in early intervention and school system settings. Holly provides educa
 tionally related occupational therapy services to students ages 3-21 in th
 e largest public school system in Nebraska. She specializes in feeding dev
 elopment\, sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders. Holly has pre
 sented both locally and nationally.\n\nTammy Stephens\, OTR/L\nTammy is th
 e transition team leader in the Occupational Therapy Department at Munroe-
 Meyer Institute\, University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has 26 years 
 of experience primarily in the school system setting. Tammy provides educa
 tionally related occupational therapy services to students ages 3-21 in th
 e largest public school system in Nebraska. Her areas of interest are tech
 nology\, autism spectrum disorders and transition to adulthood. Tammy also
  serves as the MMI representative on the NE Transition Advisory Board.   
 \n\n**Registration will close Monday\, February 20th at 10:00am.\n***Child
 care is not provided.  With the exception of infants\, we request that you
