 on Series (DSES) is a monthly educational seminar for families of children
  with Down syndrome\, designed to connect parents with information that wi
 ll positively impact the education and well-being of their child.\n\nSpeak
 er - Project SEARCH \n\nProject SEARCH is a high school transition program
  that provides training and education intended to lead to employment for i
 ndividuals with disabilities. The program provides real-life work experien
 ce to help youth with disabilities make successful transitions from school
  to adult life. Each student participates in three 10-week internships dur
 ing the school year. In each rotation the student learns job-specific skil
 ls while having the opportunity to put employability skills into practice.
  Monthly progress meetings are held to help students define their career g
 oal and to plan necessary steps to achieve that goal.\n\n***Childcare is n
 ot provided.  With the exception of infants\, we request that you refrain 
 from bringing children to this event.
