The Down Syndrome Education Series (DSES) is a monthly educational seminar for families of children with Down syndrome, designed to connect parents with information that will positively impact the education and well-being of their child.
The Learning Program:

The Learning Program is an educational program committed to helping children with Down syndrome succeed. A nationally-recognized model for literacy-focused educational intervention developed by the Down Syndrome Foundation of Orange County, California (DSF), this program is grounded on evidence-based approaches to teaching children with Down syndrome developed by world-recognized leaders in Down syndrome education. The Learning Program equips participants with the knowledge and tools to work effectively with students in home and school settings,  with a focus on building literacy and math skills. The Learning Program offers a variety of teaching platforms including, online classes, VisuaLearn iPad App, an online store with pre-printed materials, TONS of free, printable resources online, and an Empowered Educator Program. 

In this session, Leah Janke will provide guidance to parents and educators who want to learn more about how to use the The Learning Program and its materials.
